What are the Precautions and Maintenance Methods for Lithium Battery Packs

2021.06.22

1. Lithium-ion battery charging precautions:

Lithium-ion batteries are strictly prohibited from charging from the discharge terminal, and must be charged from the charging socket using the matching charger. When the charging indicator on the charger stops rolling, remove the charging plug in time to avoid overcharging the battery.

2. Discharge precautions:

The lithium-ion battery pack has the function of overcurrent protection. When the current of the electrical equipment exceeds the large output current of the product, the overcurrent protection circuit will act to outwardly make the electrical equipment not work normally.

3. Daily use precautions:

The output of the discharge terminal is not controlled by the switch on the panel, and the discharge terminal will only turn off the output when the battery voltage is below 9.0V. The switch on the panel controls the display screen and USB socket output. When the switch is on and the battery voltage is 9.1V, the display screen flashes at the frequency of on and off for one second to remind you that you should charge in time. When the battery voltage is 9.1V, the display screen is off and the USB socket turns off the output, in order to protect the lithium-ion battery from excessive discharge. Although it has the output short-circuit protection function, the + and - power output should not be short-circuited frequently in daily use.

4. Recycling precautions:

The normal cycle charge and discharge times of lithium-ion batteries are about 500 to 800 times, and the lithium-ion batteries at the end of their life should be recycled and processed accordingly in accordance with local laws.
