In response to the 22nd national Safety Production Month, shouldering the responsibility of enterprise, and improving the awareness of all employees and ensuring safe production, FULIN.SH carried out a series of safe production activities themed Everyone Knows Safety and Knows How to Deal with Emergencies.
Launching Ceremony
It was organized by the Company's Safety Committee, with the Managers, leaders from R&D Center, Business Center, Finance Center, Operation Center, and Business Department participated on June 2nd. At the meeting, the manager of the Department of Safety and Environmental Protection gave a detailed introduction to the public about the importance of the Work Safety Month and a series of activities carried out in this month, we must be sure that all employees always keep safety in mind and really do it little by little - "Everyone knows safety and knows how to deal with emergencies"!
Call for Safety Warning Slogans
At the beginning of June, the Safety Committee hung safety warning slogans targeted according to the nature of the company's production.
Thematic Training
On June 16, the Safety Committee organized and held the "Special Training on Safety Management Standards for Special Operations of Hazardous Chemicals", at which the Safety and Environmental Protection Department provided training to the production departments on special operations such as pyrotechnic operations, restricted space operations, emergency equipment and other special operations. Afterwards, the staff representatives learnt to use self-contained breathing apparatus for fire fighter and understood in detail how to wear and use them. (Self-contained breathing apparatus for fire fighter enables firefighters and rescue workers to prevent inhalation of poisonous gases, fumes, and harmful pollutants suspended in the air that are harmful to human beings during firefighting battles or rescue operations.)
During the safety production month, the Safety Committee continuously circulates the video Red Line - Shandong Province's Major Production and Safety Accidents Warning and Education Film in the hall on the first floor, so as to make the staff understand the importance of safety production more deeply, clearly recognize the potential dangers and hidden dangers in the process of production, and actively participate in safety production, thus reducing the risk of accidents within the company.
Relevant departments implement the work
In addition to rich offline trainings, all the employees of Fulin.SH actively participated in the online knowledge contest of safety production month, to learn about the knowledge that should be known and practiced including the prevention of production accidents, identification and investigation of hidden dangers, avoidance of danger, self-rescue and mutual rescue, rescue drills, and emergency response and disposal.
Emergency Drills for Major Hazardous Sources
On June 30, the Safety Committee organized the company's staff to jointly carry out the Emergency Drill on Leakage of Pneumatic Valves at the Entrance of Crude Methanol Tanks in the Tank Area of Major Hazardous Sources. During the drill, the staff reacted quickly and orderly to the emergency situation, and practiced in accordance with the links of discovering the danger - reporting the situation - responding to the disposal - dealing with the aftermath and so on. Through practical operations, the personal emergency handling ability and escape self-rescue knowledge were further strengthened, and the overall activity achieved the established drill effect.
In the summary meeting of "Safety Production Month", Chen Qian, vice general manager, pointed out that through this "Safety Production Month" activity, all the staff had a deeper understanding of safety production, and at the same time, identification and investigation of risks also showed that the safety detail management of our company needed to be strengthened. After entering the summer, it was necessary to protect the staff from heatstroke and do a good job related to flood prevention and control.
Finally, general manager Du Junbo delivered an important speech. Mr. Du said that the company should resolutely implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on production safety. Safety and environmental protection is also the red line and bottom line of the company's management, and all employees must adhere to it. First, increase safety training and education of employee: study video case, and conduct emergency drills and training; second, strengthen the identification and management of process risk: major sources of danger, limited space, special operating equipment, etc.; and finally, build a strong sense of safety precautions, strict compliance with all operating procedures, full participation in safety and environmental protection management, so that we can really do a happy job, and create a happy life.
